Above Ground Storage Tanks Accessories
Anchorage Tank can supply and install equipment & accessories to customize tanks for your individual needs.
Whether it’s ladders or catwalks you need for ease of access, or saddles or skids to support your tank, we can provide it. We also supply top and bottom fill systems, liquid level gauges, openings and vents, overfill protection and leak protection systems.
UL® listed tow-bar skids or saddles are available for every tank we make.
UL® Listed Tow Bar Skid
The tow bar skid allows for an empty tank to be easily relocated. Either by scooting the tank into position or dragging it across a frozen lake, this skid is designed for the rigors of Alaskan conditions.
Saddles
Saddle-mounted tanks should be placed on a paved or concrete pad to resist torque forces created by the freezing and thawing of the ground.

Morrison #818 Clock Gauge
For measuring liquid level in aboveground storage tanks. Gauge mounts on top of tank and is activated by a float connected to a cable. Readout is on a 1-hour clock face.
Small hand = feet, Large hand = inches.
Gauge can be read 20-30 feet away. Maximum measurement is 12 feet.
Features:
- Aluminum body with 2″ NPT male connection.
- Stainless steel float and cable
- Vapor tight construction
Morrison #918 Clock Gauge
Utilizes the #818 clock gauge with a built-in high level warning alarm. Contains a battery powered, intrinsically safe alarm unit that is mounted in a remote location. Alarm level is set during installation and can be reset at any time.
Features:
- Same standard features as #818 clock gauge
- Electrical junction box and lead wires included
- 90 decibel “beep” cycle alarm
Required by the EPA to maintain a maximum 90% fill capacity.
Clay & Bailey F-30 (2″) and F-30 (4″)
When specifying a fill limiting device, it is helpful to know what equipment is used by the personnel filling the tanks at the site.
Tanks equipped with the Clay and Bailey F-30 or F-40 may be filled with either a nozzle or a dry break connection.
Features:
- Aluminum body with 2″ NPT male connection.
- F-30 flow rate of 200 GPM @ 40 PSI.
- F-40 flow rate of 300 GPM @ 40 PSI.
- Adjustable fill tube collar permits custom shutoff level for any AST.
- Entirely mechanical in operation, no power source is required.
- No line shock is experienced during delivery or shutdown.
Allow 23″ for float arm to swing freely. Drop tube not shown.
Morrison 9095 A (2″)
Tanks equipped with the Morrison 9095 can only be filled with a nozzle equipped a dry break connection. Pressure from the fill hose is necessary to open the poppet valve inside the fill limiter.
Installed at the fill port and shuts off the flow at a preset level (90% tank capacity maximum). Mounts on a standard 4″ NPT male connection. Fill connection is standard 2″ male cam-and-groove fitting. The vertical float makes this valve ideal for smaller tanks, where space for fittings is at a premium.
Features:
- One piece anodized aluminum adaptor
- Full flow up to shut off
- No shock or kickback
- Float movement is vertical. No swing extensions to get hung
- Stainless steel linkage
- No outside power source is needed
Allow 23″ for float arm to swing freely. Drop tube not shown.
